Websites built to a performance budget, not to a template.

Fast, accessible sites with a CMS your own team can update. Built so the SEO work has something to stand on rather than something to apologise for.

Performance as a constraint, not a cleanup

Most slow websites were not built slow; they were built without a budget and then filled up. We set the targets at the start — largest contentful paint, interaction latency, layout shift — and every addition gets checked against them. A carousel that costs a second of load time has to earn that second.

That means compressed and correctly sized images, fonts that do not block rendering, and third-party scripts that get questioned before they get added.

Accessible, and findable

We build from semantic HTML: real headings in order, labelled form fields, visible focus states, contrast that passes, and keyboard operation that works. WCAG 2.2 AA is the target. It is the right thing to do and it also happens to be the same structure search engines read.

Clear ownership

Ownership, hosting and handover are written into the service agreement, so there are no surprises if you ever want to move the site elsewhere. The aim is that your domain, your hosting account and the finished site are yours.

Questions

Common questions about web development.

Can my team edit the website ourselves?

That is the aim: sites are built around a CMS your own team can update, with training where it is needed.

Will a new website lose my search rankings?

Not if the move is planned. Old pages are mapped to new ones with redirects, and an audit before the build shows which pages carry the traffic.

Is a rebuild always the answer?

No. A slow site with good content is often worth fixing, and an audit will tell you which one you are looking at.
